It is a great News. It is Jizhong Zhou's great honor to receive this year’s Lawrence Award in biological and environmental sciences. It is the Department of Energy’s highest scientific award. The Lawrence Award was established by President Dwight Eisenhower to honor the memory of Dr. Ernest Orlando Lawrence, who invented the cyclotron—an accelerator of subatomic particles—and received a 1939 Nobel Laureate in physics for the achievement.
